For 5 years now, DORKS Books has continued to adapt to the ever changing textbook industry by adding more and more options to help students save money and make their experience in college, with regard to buying and selling their books, a great one. By offering as many options as possible when students buy and sell their books, we believe we have the best mix of cost saving options and convenience based efforts to make this part of college easier and better. While no extensive or professional research has been done to prove that we actually are "The Students' Choice for College Textbooks", we stand behind our beliefs. a few words about us
Cousins, Trevor and Brad, started DORKS in September of 2006. Since then, the business has gone from peddling books on the side of the road in Oakwood to being able to supply many tens of thousands of students with USED books.
Now with 6 locations and more on the way, we are looking forward to helping even more students and saving them hundreds!
Trevor is a 2002 NGCSU graduate with a degree in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis. He is married to Holly Cain who also graduated from NGCSU with a degree in Accounting. Trevor and Holly just recently had their first child, Mason Lee Cain, and are having a wonderful time with their new blessing! They now live in Flowery Branch, Georgia and attend Blackshear Place Baptist Church.
Brad is also a graduate of NGCSU and graduated with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Chemistry. The road to where he now stands, has been a long and hard one, yet filled with amazing memories and joy. With the faith and love of Jesus Christ, Brad knows and takes peace in the assurance of continued life and joy as he pushes forward and continues to create, change, lead, and experience life with the people he loves.
