Steven, after living over seas, moved to Albany, GA, and is a recent graduate of Lee County High School. He has lived in Texas, Guam, and now Albany. He currently attends Darton College and maintains a 3.8 GPA as a math major. In his spare time Steven enjoys reading, math, skateboarding, disc golf and XBOX live. He loves his job because gets to meet and assist people daily and loves the Christian atmosphere along with the encouragement from employees to live out his walk.

Clay is a recent graduate of Sherwood Christian High School and will be attending Darton in the fall. In his spare time, he loves to play baseball, basketball and disc golf. He is also an advid volunteer at Sherwood Baptist Church where he helps feed the homeless and assists the youth ministry. Clay is passionate about sharing the gospel and feels the Lord calling him to ministry one day. His favorite verse is Matthew 5:16, "So let your light shine before men so they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven." He loves the opportunity he has to meet new people and brighten their day by working at DORKS!

Zack graduated from Lee County High School, and is currently attending Darton College. He was Commander of Lee County's high school NJROTC as well as rifle team leader.

He is very active at Central Baptist Church, and has the desire to know God. Right now he is working “Like a Boss” at Dorks in Albany, while hanging out with his co-workers Steven and Clay. His interests are serving Jesus Christ, women who have a passion for Jesus, spending time with family, eating at Blackbeards, Africa, fishing, hanging out with friends, and having fun.

As of now he doesn’t know what to pursue in college, but he knows God will guide him in the right path. His favorite quote that keeps him motivated is “I have a different constitution. I have a different brain; I have a different heart; I got tiger blood man.”- Charlie Sheen.

Sam was born and raised in Jonesboro GA along with his 5 siblings. He is beginning his third year at Clayton State University where he plans to graduate with a Bachelors degree in Business Management with a minor in marketing. He also completed a two year program at the EI School of Biblical Training in Greenville, SC. He is serving on the leadership team of Baptist Collegiate Ministries as well as President of the Go Green Club at the university. Sam enjoys playing music and has an active role in the music at his church, First Baptist Jonesboro. He also enjoys the outdoors through hiking, cycling, running and other sports.

Gabrielle is a sophomore at Clayton State University. She has attended the University for two years prior to college as a student in the dual enrollment program. While currently undecided, she feels that God is leading her to pursue a career in the healthcare industry, possibly as a nursing major. She attends First Baptist Church Jonesboro and enjoys spending her time volunteering in the church�s nursery. She is excited about her new job at DORKS Books, as it has already opened up other opportunities within the college and career ministries at FBCJ.

We welcome Taylor Martin to our team here at DORKS Books. Taylor is returning to Clayton State University this fall to pursue a career in Information Technology. When he is not working at Dorks Books, he leads worship at his home church, First Baptist Jonesboro, on the south side of Atlanta. As well as leading at the Church, he travels with The Chris White Band leading worship at churches around the Southeast. He also volunteers with the college and career ministry at the church, and participates in various local music projects.

Josh was born and spent his early childhood in Auburn Alabama before moving to Georgia. He is currently attending Gordon College, located in Barnesville Georgia, and is completing a B.A. in English. After graduation he plans on going to the mission field full time.

Josh serves as Youth Pastor at Russellville Baptist Church and in leadership with the Gordon BCM. His hobbies include theology, reading, and sports.

Erin is from Newnan, GA and attends the University of West Georgia where she is majoring in English Secondary Education. She plans on teaching High School English courses wherever God calls her to teach. God has placed in her heart a desire to minister to students that are bound by broken homes and the struggles of life through the classroom setting. She is a part of the West Hills church body where she works with the youth group as well as leads a small group for girls in high school.

Erin has a huge heart for missions on campus as well as across the globe. Isaiah 61:1 was placed upon her heart while ministering to orphans in Romania and it continues to weigh heavily on her heart from day to day. Erin enjoys art, hiking, playing her guitar, and travelling. She is thankful that God’s grace overwhelms her and has rescued her heart to glorify Him.

Trevor was born and raised in Hall County, GA and graduated from East Hall High School in 1996. He graduated from North Georgia College & State University in 2002 with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He has been married to his wonderful wife Holly since 2003, also a North Georgia College & State University graduate with a B.B.A. in Accounting and a licensed CPA. Trevor and Holly have been blessed with two incredible sons, Mason and Tucker. Trevor and family worship and serve at Blackshear Place Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, GA.

Trevor is constantly amazed at the perfect will of God and the evidence of God’s presence in his life and in the DORKS corporation. Trevor and Brad continue to operate DORKS with the same guiding principle that they opened the business with that they are just stewards of a company that God has given them to lead. Trevor hopes that DORKS will always operate with God in the forefront. Trevor is so thankful for all the people that have come into his life that have made him and his business into what they are today.

Brad was born and raised in Gainesville, GA and graduated from North Hall High School in 2002, where he then attended North Georgia College & State University. He graduated with a minor in Chemistry and a B.B.A. in Marketing. In 2004, while still sophomores at NGCSU, Brad and friend Brett Grizzle started a little business called B&B Books. After months of work and Brett's dream to hike the Appalachian Trail became a reality, Brad needed some help as the business began to grow. Brett left to hike the AT and Brad's cousin, Trevor Cain, soon bought into the business. From there, God continued to bless and encourage the two on their business venture.

Brad's goal for his life and business is that God's will, will be done and ever present in his daily walk. His prayer is that DORKS, through helping students in a variety of ways, would always be used by Christ to spread His Word and help lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. He is so thankful for all the love and support from his incredible friends, parents, and family. It is their constant support and encouragement that is continuing to make all of this possible.

Daryle was born and raised in Flowery Branch, GA. He accepted the call to salvation at the age of 6 years old when he gave his life to Jesus Christ. He grew up playing basketball and golf where he learned the values of hard work, integrity, and teamwork. He was a Georgia Military Scholarship recipient when he graduated from Johnson High School in 1988. He attended basic training at Fort Benning, GA. Daryle participated in the Corp of Cadets at North Georgia College (NGC) and was a member of the Georgia Army National Guard (GANG). He graduated from NGC with a B.B.A. in Accounting and was commissioned as a 2nd LT in the GANG Military Police branch of service.

Daryle has been married to his wife Amalia for 6 years. She has truly been a blessing from God in his life. He answered the call to live his life obedient to the Father's will on July 10th, 2001. He began working with DORKS in April of 2010 at the Gainesville, GA location which was the company's second store opened. As operations manager Daryle helped DORKS manage growth to 5 store locations, while developing a business format to help future expansion as well. Daryle was promoted after his 1st year of employment with the company to CFO. He states DORKS has been a wonderful Christian influence as well as answered prayer to work in a Christian environment. DORKS has helped Daryle to grow in accepting the calls to ministry and evangelism.

Bryan was born and raised in the once small, one red light town of Dacula, GA. He married his best friend Kim in October of 1995. Bryan and Kim serve God at Blackshear Place Baptist Church in the student ministry, focusing on middle school students. They currently reside in Flowery Branch, GA with their three children, Stephen, the rule follower, who loves children especially orphans, Michael, the preacher, with a passion for following God, and Sarah, the tomboy, who praises and worships God with all her heart.

Bryan came to DORKS in November of 2010 through another wonderful plan of God. The company was in need of people to help during the busy time at the end of the semester and the owners prayed that God would send them the help they needed. That same day Bryan called seeking some part-time employment. After working through the season he was promoted to Director of Operations, or Operations Manager. Bryan says, "It is an amazing opportunity straight from God. With DORKS I am able to continue my current ministries, finish school, and provide for my family."
